Cool Walkable Venue | The Market at 7th Street has many food, beverage, and retail vendors. Centrally located in the heart of Charlotte, the market is walkable to all of the many sights and attractions of Uptown.
Relaxed Schedule | The tournament is only 2 days long with one event on each day. Most players will have some time to explore the city, even on tournament days.
It’s Cashless | For convenience, pre-payment is required by Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, debit/credit card, or bank transfer. The deadline to register and pay is July 18th.
$50 Registration Fee | All players will receive a $40 gift certificate to the Market at 7th Street with registration. The remaining $10 goes to pay for tournament costs, including web site fees and trophies.

Schedule: 1pm-10pm Saturday with an hour break for dinner at 6:30pm
Enjoy your liege waffle from Sweet Crunch or a Hip Hop Smoothie during the games when your partner is moving the checkers. If you don’t have a partner, no problem! We will pair you up randomly with a new friend.

Option 1 (Walk): Stay at Homewood Suites, which offers valet parking for $30/night. Walk 2 blocks to the market.
Option 2 (Drive) | Drive to 7th Street Station garage and park for $21/day maximum (for overnight parking, rates repeat at 3am). Entrances to the garage are located on 6th St and 7th St between N College and N Brevard.
Option 3 (Light Rail) | Park at a light rail park & ride and ride the train to 7th Street Station. The train stops right outside the door to 7th Street Market. The closest light rail stations with parking are Woodlawn Station to the south and Sugar Creek Station to the north.
The Southeastern Social is only two days long with one event on each day, so you're encouraged to get out and enjoy all Charlotte has to offer when you're not playing. Here are a few ideas, but if none of this interests you, Paul is a lifelong Charlottean and can give you recommendations on anything you're looking to do. Just ask!
Only a 5 minute walk from the market, this broadway national tour will be coming to Belk Theater the week of the tournament!
Enjoy a baseball game at one of the top ten ballparks in the minor leagues! Truist Field is a 15 minute walk from the market, but you can take the light rail halfway.
Come a day early and catch this major concert at Truliant Amphitheater on Friday evening.
After the doubles tourney is over, walk 5 minutes to the Comedy Club at Duckworth's for some live comedy by this Youtube sensation.
